Korean Alphabet and Pre-Study sections build basic
knowledge for learning Korean.
Those sections are open to all members.
 Korean
Alphabet section is designed to learn consonants and vowels. |
1.If you click
Consonants button, there are buttons to choose consonants at
the bottom.
If you click 'ㄱ', you can see where the sound is made and how to write
it. If you click a number in the Writing Consonants section, it is
written in right order. If you click Pronunciation button, you can
hear the sound.
It is same with Vowel part.

2.There are 8 buttons at the bottom in
the Combination of C & V section.
ⓛ double consonants, diphthong
② format 1 (V) combination with soundless
'ㅇ' and a vowel
If you click a moving vowel, it will combine with soundless 'ㅇ'.
③ format 2 (cvc) combination with a consonant,
a vowel, and a consonant
If you click a moving initial, medial, and final, then they are
combined to make a letter.
If you click a stable vowel, it will move again. You can choose
a consonant and double consonant by clicking initial 1 or initial
2.
④ format 3 (vcc)
combination with soundless 'ㅇ', a consonant, and a consonant
A letter with "X" in View Syllable section is not used
nowadays.
However, Used Syllable section shows letters in which each final
is used.
⑤ format 4 (cv) combination with a consonant
and a vowel
⑥ format 5 (vc) combination with soundless
'ㅇ' and a consonant
⑦ format 5 (cvcc) combination with a double
consonant, a vowel, and a consonant

3.Keyboard Practice Main
You can practice how to make a word with typing practice.
**Writing basic vocabulary
Type a word in Korean in the blank, then click Enter key. If you type
a word in the list correctly, the word will turn yellow.
Space key makes it move on to next page.
Left key makes it move on to previous page.

a vowel makes a letter. If you click a letter, you can listen

1.In the Basic Word section, words without
a final are separated with words with a final. If you move a mouse
in the box under a picture, the word appears. If you click a picture,
you can hear the sound. If you click a word at the bottom, a page
with the word will appear.

fairy tales. If you click a sentence pattern, you can see the examples.
If you click English button, you can see the translation.
3.Sentence by Theme is made of 10 different situations of
conversation with animated effect. You can learn everyday conversation.

5. In the Fairy Tales section, you can read and listen
animated tales.

Korean Proficiency Test are made to director file.
If you click 'Previously Given Questions' button, questions will appear

solve the test from the beginning. You can see your grade when you
finish the test. You can check the remain time, too.
