- Kim, Eun Hye -

½This is a true story happened in Switzerland. A tourist party was returning home by bus. All the passengers were worn out and fell asleep. Then the moment the chauffeur crossed the last pass, he found the brake didn't work. When the bus with its brake out of order came to a descent, it began to run at fast speed. The driver in a flurry saw there were five sharp turns in the downhill road.

The sudden speed-up of the bus woke the people. They sensed they were in danger and became distracted and screamed. But the driver, remaining composed, proceeded to drive carefully. Finally, he succeeded in passing the last bend and all passengers gave a shout of joy. Now, they had to pass the thoroughfare and stop slowly before the hill.

But at the instance, he found some children playing over there on the road. The driver sound a horn to warn of danger with astonishment. All children except one escaped at the sound. The boy was hesitating without moving. At the moment the driver was in two minds whether he will save the passengers or the boy. But finally he ran over the boy.

And the bus pulled up near the hill as expected. As soon as the bus stoped, he rushed to the boy but he was already dead. The crowd began to jeer at the driver, shouting Murderer! Murderer! The driver lifted up the boy and buried his face against the boy's chest in silence. Then he walked into the path sobbing out.

People followed him shouting Murderer! At the very moment, a young man yelled. Stop shouting! Don't say to him like that. The boy is the son of the driver.
