- Sal Ang Ji Gi -

When the door was opened, a girl with her younger brother and sister appeared. When Young-cheol approached them for orders, the eldest sister said.
Two bowls of Jajang-myun(Chinese noodles with blackish bean sauce), please.
"Why didn't you order for your?", asked one of the younger sisters.
Well, the lunch seems to have disagreed with me."
How wonderful they have their parents! They can have supper together," said the younger.

At the very time, Young-sun hurried out of the kitchen.
She gave the children a long look.
You...you In-hye, right? In-hye?
Yes, right. I'm Inhye. Who are you?"
Your mom's friend. Dont you remember me? I'm Young-sun. We had lived at the same village. I think you cannot remember me because you were too young then. Anyway, how are you living without your parents?"

She was passing her hand over their faces.
In-jung, you grew to be a girl."
At last, their face broadened into a smile.
Wait for a moment. I will bring you some tasty dishes."

Young-sun rushed into the kitchen. After a short time, she brought out three bowls of Jajang-myun and a sweet-and-sour pork. While the children were having the food, she stared at them.

Good-bye."
Good-bye. Take care... Come to me whenever you want to eat Jajang-myun."
Yes, I will."

Catching sight of them walking through the dark street, Young-sun felt they were like a fringe of ice on the eaves which struggles to grow.

After the children disappeared, Young-chul asked her about the children.
Who are they? I don't remember them."
In fact, I don't know them, either.
I just thought that they might be deeply hurt if I gave them some food for nothing for the reason they were the orphan. So they can easily come again only if they knew I was a friend of their mother."
"Anyway, how did you know their names?"
I just heard they called each other's name. They were sitting just in front of the kitchen."
I thought you called their names so you really knew them."
It must be the younger brother's birthday today. I felt terribly sorry for that girl who was eager for her Jajang-myun but ordered just two."

Tears gathered in her eyes and seemed to get ready to roll down her cheek.
