This story was carried in the ¡°Leadership¡± magazine in the
U.S.
Jackie Labinson, the first Afro-American, was appointed in
the top class baseball team in the U.S.
He overcame the racial barrier by his worth.
But he suffered from the audience making fun of him in every
ground.
One day, he made a mistake on the game in Brooklyn, New York.
When he was standing on the secondary base faintly, Pee Liss,
a famous shortstop, came and hold his shoulder.
Then, the audience jeering him became quiet suddenly.
Labinson used to remember the Liss¡¯ arm put on his shoulder
and told like this.
¡°His arm enabled me to resume my player life.¡±
Today, who is needed your arm?
To hold his depressed shoulder with your arm,
Please do right now.
