The difference between a service man and a beggar

The famous businessman and the charitable worker in the U.S, John Davison Rockefeller, stayed in a hotel.
The hotel assumed a cautious attitude not to make a mistake for him.

The young employees who serve him were told to pay careful attention from a manager and did their best not to disturb him.
Rockefeller was satisfied with an employee who managed the hard, difficult work not to reject it with smile.
He thought to himself that the employee was very serviceable man.

When he left the hotel in few days, he gave the regulation tip equivalent to hotel expenses thanking to the employee.
But he was told the employee¡¯s murmuring when he left the hotel.
¡°The richest man in the U.S did give a tip as this little bit.¡±
Rockefeller looked back and called him up.
¡°A young man, I must be the richest man in the U.S. enough to give a great deal of tips right now. But on the moment I give a tip more than a hotel charge, you do not differ much from a beggar. Why do you bring on yourself to that position?¡±

Rockefeller added when he turned his steps.
¡°I have watched you carefully and won your favor. So I have thought to employ you in our company specially. But you lost the opportunity by yourself.¡±

After the employee was told, he couldn¡¯t say a word.
