A cold wind rises on a spring day.
I came out to the vacant lot of our red brick house to trim
a flowerpot.
I found several children of five years were playing house
together.
I was pleased to see children whispering together as if I
saw my childhood.
¡°Hey, what are you going to be?¡±
¡°Make a decision quickly.¡±
The child hesitated to answer though friends were tired to
hear his answer pressing for an answer.
I seconded the word with smile at that time.
¡°Go ahead, we were waiting for your answer.¡±
The child stood up as if he decided something.
Then he rushed to the wall getting much sunshine and leaned
against the wall.
¡°I am sunshine, come here, you guys.¡±
I stared at him thinking to myself.
¡®Alas ! he is better than expected.¡¯
The confused children rushed and stood by him.
¡°Oh, it¡¯s very warm.¡±
The children looked familiar.
I used to give a light meal to the children sometimes.
I asked the child who wants to be sunshine while I brought
apples chopped in rabbit with colorful plastic forks.
¡°My grandmother sells wild greens in the market but the place
doesn¡¯t get much sunshine.¡±
The sunshine is impudent enough to give a shine for a moment
and transfers soon.
The child thought ill of the sunshine.
That¡¯s why he thought to give a warm sunshine to grandmother
all day if he grew old.
I hugged that child and felt warm as if I hold sunshine in
my bosom full.
