The thing you never fulfill

One day, a king told a wise man searching for wisdom that he would meet his wish.
The wise man asked the king to fill gold currency in a small tray.
The king accepted his request because he thought it easy.
But it was not easy thing.
The tray was not filled even though the king poured a bag of gold coins into the tray.
The more he pours, the more empty it looks.
The king was embarrassed, who has been proud of his wealth as if he has everything.
¡°What happened? Tell me the secret of this tray.¡±
Then, the wise man beam upon the king and said.
¡°This is the very special tray. It takes after the secret in your heart. In other words, it reveals a human being¡¯s heart that is never satisfied, though you have everything.
It can be filled with whatever you want. Money, beauty, love, knowledge, power, pleasure of a life, you can fill it up with everything you want.
But you never watch it filled with something. Because people are dissatisfied with their possession and only run after the visible thing.
If you pursue all the more despite your earning, you never fill it up.

The king approved his words and gave the wise man send-off at last.
